At Liz Davis Therapy, I specialize in helping LGBTQIA+ couples navigate the complexities of their relationships, providing a safe space for open and honest communication.

  • You deserve a safe, accepting, and non-judgmental space to process hard things with your partner. You can freely express yourself without fear, because I will be there to provide support and facilitate healthy dialogue. We will practice healthy communication skills, and learn tools and techniques to engage in more healthy disagreements. Conflict isn’t the problem in relationships. It’s keeping the conflict healthy and constructive that becomes the challenge. I welcome that challenge, and I want to support you all in the process of learning to disagree in a more skillful and productive way.

  • Sometimes in relationships, intimacy is easy and instinctual in the beginning when we’re first excited to get to know each other. Over time, however, the mundane day-to-day life stressors can impede our ability to communicate in an intimate way, or even engage with each other sexually in a way that feels comfortable and safe. At Liz Davis Therapy, I am skilled in working with couples to re-connect with their intimacy and manage stress and conflict so that it doesn’t interfere with their sexual life. Is there a sexual desire difference? That’s ok! We can talk about it! I am trained and experienced in helping couples navigate through differences in sexual desire and differences in their desire for sexual frequency. We can navigate this, together.

  • Are you and your partner of different sexual orientations? That can feel like a major hurdle! But in my therapy room, I promise this is completely normal. I am skilled at assisting couples clients through navigating differences in sexual orientation. Not only do I have professional training in this, but I have the lived experience as well! I am a Queer (bisexual) woman partnered with a straight man. I understand and empathize with this experience, and I can help!

  • I am so incredibly passionate about helping couples strengthen their relationships. Is your relationship “good” or “fine”, but could be better? Don’t wait to pursue couples therapy! Let’s get ahead of the problem and strengthen the foundation of your relationship today! This is one of my favorite things to do with my couple clients, so please know that I am ready and happily willing to assist you in taking actionable steps to make your relationship happier, healthier, and more full of joy!
